Stephen Shimek is an award winning director and producer and co-founder of the rapidly expanding independent film production company, Escapology.
His debut feature film, Dragon Hunter, was a major success and led to him directing, writing, and producing many other features including the award winning thriller, The Maze, two family features, RoboRex and K-9 Adventures: Legend of the Lost Gold, and the epic fantasy comedy, Dudes and Dragons.
With a background in television and visual effects, his experience, drive, and unique perspective, combined with a masterful eye for visual storytelling, bring a fresh and exciting energy to every project he's involved in.
